About the treatment

The doctor will first assess your condition to determine to severity of the condition and whether you are a suitable candidate for the treatment. During the procedure, dermal fillers will be placed through injections at precise locations and depth to improve the appearance of the eyebags, and correct the tear troughs.

Patients who have more severe eye aging usually benefit from a combination of two or more of the following treatments.

Dermal fillers

The tear trough depression can often be treated with cross-linked HA dermal filler as it is reversible with hyaluronidase, giving patients and their practitioners reassurance. The thickness of the filler has to be chosen correctly as it varies according to different patients based on the state of their eye condition.

PN skinbooster

The product consists of DNA fragments to stimulate cell regeneration and wound healing. The clinical papers from Korea has shown that polyneucleotides (PN) improve skin elasticity, pigmentation, and overall skin health.

Botulinum toxin

A combination of dermal fillers and botulinum toxin can achieve natural eye rejuvenation results that are long-lasting as well.

Laser resurfacing

Laser resurfacing helps to tighten skin, refine pores, and reduces wrinkles - rounding up the eye rejuvenation process.

Laser tightening

This laser helps to improve the effect of droopiness, tiredness and laxity that contributes to the eyebags.

Soft tissue tightening, contour effacement, and skin rejuvenation are the three pillars for a successful non-surgical eye rejuvenation.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Little to no pain will be experienced during the procedure. The procedure will be done through small needles or micro cannulas, which are blunt needles. This reduces the trauma on underlying tissue structures. Dermal fillers that Dr. Heng use for tear trough and eyebag correction contains an anesthetic solution within, which helps greatly in reducing the discomfort of the procedure.

There is little to no downtime for injectable treatments like hyaluronic acid dermal filler and botulinum toxin. If you are doing a skin resurfacing laser, there may be mild redness and peeling for 2-3 days.

Every patient is unique, and we understand that all our patients age differently. Most patients can see improvement with one treatment session. However, if the signs of aging are more severe, the patient may require more treatment sessions, or an introduction of another procedure to correct the problem.

The cost of the procedure depends on the treatments to be done, which in turn depends on the needs and concerns of the patient. This varies on a case by case basis. Since we offer individualized treatments, we prefer that you come in for a consultation so we can obtain a more accurate quote for you.
